Archiving
Examination data must be stored for at least 18 months, regardless of whether it is for analogue or digital examinations. This data includes the examination task(s), examination performance, examination correction and examination assessment/grading.
Examination data must be stored for at least 18 months in such a way that only a small group of authorised persons have access. In order to be able to provide access to this examination data in the event of a counter-proposal procedure initiated by the examination board (§ 118 ZSP-HU), the complete examination courses are archived in read-only form. This archiving is the responsibility of the examiners, while the administration of the examination moodle only randomly checks whether an examination course has been archived.
Archive exam course read-only
In Exam Moodle, you as examiners and persons with the role "Examination office" can archive an examination course in which the persons with one of these roles are enrolled in a read-only manner. If necessary, e.g. in the case of a counter-proposal procedure, you can also dearchive the course in question again. You can find detailed instructions on the archiving procedure in the Exam Moodle information course under "Archiving exam results".
The Computer and Media Service ensures that examination courses can be retrieved for the prescribed period of 18 months.
Long-term archiving
So far, there are no uniform standards at the HU on how to store digital examination data, e.g. the examination courses or papers submitted there, securely against data loss or data manipulation for a long time. If you have any questions regarding the archiving of examination results, please contact the Examination Services Department of the Student Administration Centre.
