Rearrange

Definition

A list of answer options must be put in a certain order. These can be illustrations or text sections, e.g. the correct order of a mathematical proof is to be set. The reordering is usually done by drag & drop.

Challenges

If it is not just a question of arranging mere facts, such as the correct chronological order of Roman emperors, it is important to note that the individual sections cannot be arranged correctly solely by means of linguistic references such as "then", "it follows" or "finally". In this case, linguistic competence rather than content knowledge would be tested.
